Install and start

You install the app from the Shopify App Store. The first time you open it, you accept the terms and the data processing agreement (Accept and start) and pick a plan. Then you see the home page with the AI assistant. The menu has My discounts, New discount, Widgets, Dashboard and Settings. You switch the app's language at the top right.

The AI assistant

You describe a discount in one sentence. The assistant picks the right discount type, finds the products and collections in your store and shows you the complete suggestion. Nothing is created until you click Create discount, and then it's created inactive. You switch it on with a second click on Switch on now, which sits right next to all the saved values. If your request is unclear, the assistant asks back, for example about the currency or the threshold.

Besides the app's five discount types, the assistant also creates simple Shopify discounts: a percentage or fixed amount, optionally above a minimum order value, and free shipping. Bulk codes are handed over to their own page.

The five discount types

Under New discount, each tile takes you straight to Shopify's discount form, with the app's settings inside. At the bottom of every form there's a preview that calculates with the same logic as checkout.

Volume tiers

• As many tiers as you like in one discount, each higher than the last.
• Percentage or fixed amount. For a fixed amount you choose whether it applies per item or once per cart line.
• Scope: all products, collections, single products or single variants.
• Counting: each cart line on its own, all variants of a product together, or everything in scope together. The last option works with percentages only.

Bundle

• Cheaper when certain products are in the cart together. Built from groups, each with a quantity.
• Each group can have its own discount. A group without a discount is a pure condition, like buy A, get B cheaper.
• The order inside a group is the priority: what's at the top gets discounted first.
• Redemptions per cart are adjustable. A product can only be in one group.

Cart value tiers

• A discount on the whole order, tiered by cart value, for example 10% from 100 and 15% from 200.
• Several thresholds in one discount, as a percentage or a fixed amount.
• The threshold also holds after other item discounts, just like Shopify's own minimum order value.

Free gift above a cart value

• A chosen item becomes free once the cart reaches a value. You pick exactly one variant.
• The cart value counts without the gift. Paid units of the same item do count.
• For the gift to add itself to the cart, you switch on the app embed once, see Free gift above a cart value.

Widgets on the product page

A widget shows your discount where people buy: tiers with a price per quantity, the bundle, the cart value tiers or the gift with progress.

1. Open Widgets, pick the type under New widget, choose the discount, then Create widget.
2. Set the template, colors, texts, emojis and optionally your own image. Bundle widgets can show a button that adds the whole set to the cart.
3. Set the state to Live and save. While it's a draft, your store shows nothing.
4. Use Open in theme editor to place the Show discount block on the product page, then save in the theme editor.

Cart progress bar

1. Open Widgets and choose the Cart progress bar card.
2. Enter up to five goals, such as free shipping from 50 and a gift from 100, or use Take goals from a discount to copy the thresholds of a cart value or gift discount.
3. Adjust texts, colors and emojis. Optionally show it on the cart page too.
4. Use Switch on the embed in the theme editor to turn on the Cart progress bar app embed, then save.

Free shipping itself is set up in Shopify's shipping settings. The bar only shows what you enter.

Free gift above a cart value

First create the Free gift above a cart value discount. For the gift to add itself to the cart, turn on Gift above cart value under App embeds in the theme editor. The button for that is at the bottom of the discount form. If the cart drops below the threshold, the embed takes the gift out again. If a shopper adds the same item themselves, they pay for it as usual.

Bulk discount codes

1. Open New discount and choose Bulk discount codes.
2. Enter title, prefix (letters, digits, - and _), number of codes, discount type and value, and choose what the discount applies to.
3. Optionally: one code per customer, and each code redeemable only once.
4. Generate codes, then Download as CSV.

Up to 1,000 codes per run. The random part leaves out look-alike characters such as 0, O, 1 and I. The CSV contains only codes that were really created in your store. Each run creates a new discount; codes can't be added to an existing one.

Dashboard

The dashboard shows, for 7, 30 or 60 days, the orders with one of the app's discounts, the discount given and the revenue of those orders, as a chart and per discount. Counting starts at install; Import orders from the last 60 days reads earlier orders once. Automatic discounts are recognized by their title: if you rename a discount, older orders stay under the old name.

Plans and billing

Every plan includes every feature. Plans follow your store's orders per month (average of the last 60 days, test orders excluded). Billing runs through Shopify; paid plans come with a 14-day trial. You change plans under Settings. Prices and limits are on the app page.

If your store grows beyond its plan, the app shows a notice from 80% and, once you're over, the plan that fits. After 14 days the app's automatic discounts pause until you switch. Discount codes and simple Shopify discounts keep working.

Uninstalling and data

When you uninstall, Shopify removes the app's discounts. Codes from Bulk discount codes stay; they are regular Shopify codes. We delete your store's data 48 hours after you uninstall. Details are in the privacy policy.
