Changelog
What's new
New features and improvements in Hand-E AI Discounts, newest first. Updates arrive by themselves, there's nothing to install.
October 17, 2026
- Simple discounts from the AI assistant (amount off, free shipping) now also show under My discounts and can be switched on there.
- In the German interface, amounts in the AI suggestion and when switching on now use a decimal comma.
October 15, 2026
- Discounts from the AI assistant can be switched on right in the app, with all saved values next to the button.
- My discounts shows an AI discount that was never switched on as “Not active yet” instead of “Expired”.
October 9, 2026
- Bundle widgets can show a button that adds the whole set to the cart.
- Widget, progress bar and gift recalculate after every cart change, also in themes that don't send their own event for it.
- Paid units of the gift item count toward the threshold; only the free one doesn't.
October 8, 2026
- Cart value tiers check their threshold after other item discounts too, like Shopify's minimum order value.
- The free gift no longer counts toward the cart value of a cart value discount.
- The progress bar disappears when the discount its goals come from ends.
- Smaller scripts in the store, so pages load faster.
October 7, 2026
- New look for the app, matching the Shopify admin.
- Widgets and the progress bar save with Shopify's save bar, and errors show right at the field.
- The home page shows whether widget, bar and gift are switched on in your theme.
- Widgets hide expired discounts.
October 6, 2026
- Support for Shopify discount rollouts: widgets don't show discounts a rollout isn't giving to every shopper right now, and the gift pauses then.
- If you reinstall on the Free plan, you can keep using Free right away.
September 27, 2026
- New menu: My discounts, New discount, Widgets, Dashboard, Settings.
- After creating a discount, one click takes you to a matching widget.
- A warning before you leave with unsaved changes.
September 26, 2026
- Widgets with templates, free colors, emojis and your own images, with a preview for each widget type.
- New: the progress bar in the cart drawer with up to five goals.
- New plans by store size, from Free to Plus. Every plan includes every feature.
September 15, 2026
- Hand-E AI Discounts is on the Shopify App Store: AI assistant, five discount types, cart preview, bulk discount codes and dashboard.
